Backstory

I hadn't intended using the word 'sense' until I realised using it would be an irresistible play on words.
I suffer from nerve deafness to a mild to moderate degree- which explains the tinnitus. I woke up a few mornings ago sensing I had lost more hearing overnight- not a lot, but enough to make me sit up and take notice. I'm due for a hearing test and follow-up appointment with my ENT surgeon soon anyway, so it looks like either we ramp up the capacity on these babies or buy stronger hearing aids.
