lovelylizard says,

Me too and feeling much more energetic.

Dragonflower says,

I have always noticed that I am more susceptible to colds whenever I've had too much sugar in my diet. There can be lots of other factors too, but it just seems too coincidental. I think cold germs have a sweet tooth!

I haven't used sugar for several years now. Still eat treats once in a while though, but just stopping the sugar in drinks has helped me feel so much better. Like Lovelylizard says, less sluggish, more energy.

AdyShearer says,

Exactly. I only ate sugar in baked goods in recent times.

favepeep says,

Me, too! Just listened to a radio interview in which the author of a book says that 80% of processed foods have added sugar. He recommends avoiding most products with labels. That way you know exactly what you're eating--fresh vegetables, fruit, fish, meat.

Dragonflower says,

I have added, um, subtracted honey too. I love honey in my tea and on yogurt, but want to see what happens without it also. Been only a week now, but notice my skin is so much clearer. I actually did a double take in the mirror this am. My acupuncture lady tells me yeast thrives on sugar. Chinese medicine calls it dampness. She says my middle fat is because of the sugar (thus the honey ban). Eating only simple--like favepeep says. except meat.
