Finally! A memoir of yours I understand, Staraj! I get the reference, the wordplay, the sentiment. :)
I absolutely agree. I feel this way every time I take a trip to my local grocery store. The daytime "ladies" are vicious with their shopping carts, running down people in their way. (As Alex T. always says, note the quotation marks!)
Indeed, Autumn22, those "quoted people" are everywhere. BTW – I'm trying to watch Alabama–Notre Dame, but you guys are making it difficult. In a good way. :-)
The "dreadful people" always seem like they are coming towards me in the stores. I am short and they seem big and they always look at me.They have cold eyes. I feel afraid of them.
BTW #2 – I do not wish to assume a condescending manner, Autumn22, but if you'd ever like to learn my interpretation of any of my sixes, I'll gladly share it. However, my belief is that my interpretation of one of my sixes – or poems or essays – is just that: MY interpretation. Not necessarily the "correct" interpretation. Nor intrinsically superior to the interpretation of anyone else.
Caveat: I can't guarantee I'll remember what my interpretation was when I created a particular six. But I'll come up with something. :-)
Thanks Staraj, for the offer. I think I just like the sound of your sixes. And that feeling of excitement when I actually get them. I have a very literal mind and so no amount of explaining usually helps. I always had trouble in poetry class when we'd analyze a poem to death. Sometimes I'd just make up stuff....
I am also very much an empath, so I can "feel" the words and meaning without actually concretely understanding them. Your memoirs make me happy, so that's enough for me. But I may take you up on your offer if one especially intrigues me.
Maryjane31. I know what you mean. Once this person with a doublewide stroller almost challenged me to move or be hit. It was in a Macys and the aisles were wide enough for us both. !! I learned to not make eye contact and keep my head down. That's what I'm trying to overcome now. my new town isn't as bad-- just at the grocery store for some reason.
Wow! Alabama scored a touchdown – or two – each time I broke away to write a reply. Thanks for all the insightful comments, everyone. Watch out for the dreadful people, but don't let them steal your right to enjoy a happy life.
these six words leapt out from the sermon I heard in church this morning. Thanks Pastor Jodi. (I attend a Baptist church which has two lady ministers on the pastoral team.)We can live with peace and joy no matter...

Staraj, if you're watching UA vs. Notre Dame, Sixing is more entertaining. Poor Irish.Dragonflower says,
