I always liked the Beast better when he was a Beast than when he was the Prince. I don't know why, because the Prince was pretty cute.However, in answer to your memoir, Belle didn't like him at first, remember. He was kind of mean, then he had a change of heart. That's when she fell in love with him for real. She saw his softer side. If a Beast is just a mean Beast, it's pretty hard to love them.
