Backstory
I always throw a Post-Christmas/Pre-New Year party so that my kids and grandkids don't have to try to squeeze in visits to ALL the relatives on Christmas Day. That's fun! Because of our "modern family" we have Christmas on Christmas every other year, and celebrate Christmas on New Year's in between.
