Interesting path ...

illuminatrix says,

Think about how Tibetan Buddhist monks create elaborate mandalas over days and days, then ritually celebrate as they sweep the colored sand away. Quite breathtaking custom, really.

Indeed ...

Liars do the same with their false tales, elaborately create webs, then sweep them away, usually by accident, when discovered.

illuminatrix says,

Yeah, if you're okay likening an elaborate web of deceit to a mandala, a ritual, artistic expression of ordered beauty. Anyways, yes, it could be viewed that way (or any other). The theme I had in mind however, was more akin to: give yourself power through acknowledgement of impermanence. Display confidence in your ability to continue creating things of beauty by sweeping away your previous attempt. This gives you space to build anew, and to do it unfettered by previous attempts or interpretations. Worship the creative process (and its ritual end) rather than relics of others' attempts (sounds a bit idolatrous). I would probably liken the deception and lies thing as 'discovering and removing someone's mask', but hey that's just me.
