I feel joy coming on…unnerving.
Backstory
I think this started with my early thanksgiving with L2L3 and her family.One of my loved ones is flying me home for Christmas and my other loved ones are filling up my dance card. It will be a week in my state of California with most of my dear ones. My truck has sold, this months bills are paid…things look…dare I say….hopeful.
I don’t know what to do with this happiness;-)but I'm tryin to go with it.
I’ll be whiney and morose shortly after I get back but for now…
I feel a funk fading away.
This time last year was very heavy and dark…I feel less seized and more hopeful

Ba - enjoy the moment!I feel this too - last year work was an absolute trauma and I was in a v bad place. This year is just so different and the end of the year is looking busy and fun. I'm in a happy place and enjoying the moment too!

I know it's kind of silly to be unnerved by feeling joy (and even a little more foolish to admit it). It has been too long.I'm thankful that my brain chemistry is co-operating and yes I'm going to hold on to this moment with every tool, good thought, positive spin I can muster and every now and then...I'll just go with it ;-)

I often quote movies, because I just watch the love stories so much!! But-- I was watching The Family Stone last night and SJP was cuddling with Luke Wilson and she's humming/singing a line from Joy to the World, "Repeat the sounding joy..." and Luke Wilson just says it out loud in a non-singing voice. Repeat the sounding joy. It made it sound so special. Repeat the sounding joy! Hope that you do for now and forever more.
