Steve__Anthony says,

Extended families - sigh! Isn't that why we've got email, Christmas cards and Facebook?

marymc says,

I haven't seen them in 20 years. No Facebook, no email and they bumped me off their Christmas card list over a decade ago. But there's nothing those southerners love more than a good funeral and God Forbid it's a closed casket, cuz they'll feel cheated. I am not going to listen to their bullshit platitudes about God's will and everything happening for a reason.

lovelylizard says,

That's easy - change your number! Use caller ID. Go into witness protection. So many options...

marymc says,

Caller ID is my best friend. I haven't taken one of their calls. I know their area codes.

lovelylizard says,

Now you're just toying with their nosiness and making yourself quite mysterious. Must be driving them crazy. Ah, good times, good times.

marymc says,

So it's a win-win for me. I'll take it.

notjustagirlintheworld says,

caller I.D. don't stay home without it :D

DynamicDbytheC says,

Perfect six, "Don't stay home without caller ID."
