Cat had breakfast in bed today.
Backstory
Literally. Out of the blue, our cat isn't doing well. We took her to the vet and the vet said she has liver disease. She's barely moving. Complete 180 of her usual self. She likes to sleep under the covers of the queen size bed. This morning, she had breakfast in bed...to weak to get out of bed too eat. by jl333 in Six-Word Memoirs on Dec 03, 2012 |

Failing pets are one of the biggest heartbreaks...because they are usually so normal, until they aren't.jl333 says,
The vet has prescribed 2 different pills and a form of liquid. We have to give it three times a day, which isn't easy. It takes both of us to hold her, pry her mouth open and stick the pill at the back of her throat. I feel like I'm torturing her when really we're just trying to help her get better. She hasn't moved since this morning. Same spot, same position. Truly heart wenching.oopsalittle says,
