These olives are this years crop.. We had a freak summer hailstorm on Xmas day last year.the hailstones were the size of golf balls. So many olives were torn off the trees and then when we picked them all last April ( pic) we realized that more than half were bruised as a result of that storm and we had to throw them out but we still had plenty for those dirty martinis!
Now we have a new crop - much more than last time!
