Then follow her rules while in her house to keep as much harmony, as possilbe. As for them fighting amongst themselves? Play music loudly in the basement to drown them out. I know it sucks right now, but it's better than the alternative.
For the record, I am extremely grateful. Living in my parents' basement, all in one place, safe, and rent-free while we get back on our feet is wonderful and I'm not entirely sure where we would be otherwise. And it is incredibly kind of them to let us stay.
But I've also been living independently since I was seventeen, have been married for over two years, and am a mom, so although I am hugely grateful, part of this still sucks. It just does. Let me have that, dammit. =P
