Just smile when you remember me

Backstory

Almost 9 years ago my grandmother passed away from cancer and heart trouble. Most of the family was there with her. I was sitting at my grandfathers feet when it happened. He told me to get up and sit on his lap. He gave me a hug and wiped away a tear and said 'it's ok to be sad but she'd want you to be happy and to remember she's at peace. She doesn't have any more pain. She would want you to remember the good times and only smile when you think of her.' My grandfather is the most caring and honourable person I know and probably will ever know. I never know when my last day with him will be but I do know that no matter what when I think of him I will smile.
