:) It is true the world over, I think. I have lived in my area all my life, from infancy. My parents lived here all of THEIR lives, and one set of grandparents did as well, along with half of the other set. Newer-comers (yes, I made that word up)--those who came later, and yet have been here many years now and consider themselves "local"--are often surprised to learn that about me. Exotic - definite clue that I wasn't born and raised here. Not even sure what that means - my unknown/undefined parentage lets me blend in many foreign countries, but not the one where I live ... go figure...accidentaltourist says,
I do love having exotic friends, even though I am as generic as an economy car myself. :)
