Farewell from one JR to another.
Backstory
My initials are JR and my husband started calling me that when we first met; he still does. When Dallas began its original run in 1978, Larry Hagman got a lot of mileage out of playing the infamous JR Ewing. His death yesterday reminded me of when I first heard about the other JR; I wasn't a regular viewer but I was at a bar when the "Who shot JR?" episode aired. We all had a laugh at the fact that I shared a nickname with such a nefarious, yet somehow likeable character. Rest in peace, Larry. by favepeep in Six-Word Memoirs on Nov 24, 2012 |
