Sometimes, I see glimmers of me.



Backstory

The mental image I carry of myself is decidedly younger than the one that greets me in the morning mirror. In the right light, with just enough makeup, I can see me, but just barely.
I believe that we age according to the life we live. Pampering definitely shows up at 50, but so does heartache.
