Backstory
When I first joined Twitter (I'm @tlkirk, by the way), my numbers for "following" and "followers" were almost exactly the same, simply because I followed my friends and they followed me. But like everything else in the world, Twitter was taken over by spam. As a result, I'm now being followed by over 200 Prostitweets, as I like to refer to them. If you go to my Twitter page, you'll find that I'm following 158 people while being followed by 406 people.
