Time to create Face-It Book, reality.
Backstory
I told my friend that often it is all the vacation, wedding, party pictures that get shown on Face-book. I never talk about the REAL stuff on the site and many at Smithmag know more about my struggles and cancer battles than "friends" on Facebook. Facebook is no more reality than life on the Jersey Shore, I think. As you say, it's the happy happy joy joy....or sometimes the over-dramatized continuing crisis. I see very little of the "I've got some s&!# going on and here's how I'm dealing with it" variety among the pictures of cute puppies and funny videos of people falling off things.
