Backstory
I told my friend that often it is all the vacation, wedding, party pictures that get shown on Face-book. I never talk about the REAL stuff on the site and many at Smithmag know more about my struggles and cancer battles than "friends" on Facebook. I told him, let's create Face-It book or F^%$-It Book where people vent and get real. Actually, I like it the way it is.

Facebook is no more reality than life on the Jersey Shore, I think. As you say, it's the happy happy joy joy....or sometimes the over-dramatized continuing crisis. I see very little of the "I've got some s&!# going on and here's how I'm dealing with it" variety among the pictures of cute puppies and funny videos of people falling off things.
