Yippee! New laptop arrived. Voice returned.
Backstory
My recent memoir – spilled champagne on laptop –so have not been able to use it and still awaiting part from IBM.However –the lease ran out and lo and behold – my new laptop arrived yesterday – oh happy days!

thanks Kharisjo!all my data and childrens reports etc - including my word doc that I draft memoirs on - is still stuck on the old laptop - awaiting a part before I can transfer it all (hopefully!)but at least in the meantime - I can now catch up on all the fabulous memoirs!
