“My life’s all about the parentheses.” The Best Six-Word Memoirs of the Week

Friday, March 4th, 2011

By Alyssa Jocson

This week, Charlie Sheen made himself the center of attention by being so…quotable (he even managed to work in a few six-word phrases—”Can’t is the cancer of happen” anyone?) Our SMITH community too has been hard at work at creating memorable phrases. Here are six six-worders we love from the week ending March 4. Click on each of the author’s names below to check out more of their memoirs.

Toughest Narrative Arc: ”Fell off wagon, thrown under bus.” –steelponypoet (profile image above)
Most Forward-Thinking: “Plenty of paint. Need a canvas.” –l8leigh
Nerdiest Wordplay: “My life’s all about the parentheses.” –L2L3
Most Political: “Wisconsinite moving further left every day.” —JVS
Most Resilient: “My pen died. My spirit didn’t.” –Contemplative, from Six Words on TWLOHA.
Most Burnt: “Was bread. Met him. Now toast.” –coulda.been.a.comet, who boasts one of the most favorited memoirs from SMITHTeens this week.

B2B means ‘business to business’, and nowadays, many B2B web portals emerged
in china and abroad. He thought they were “not contrived in order to carry business letters from Berlin to Moscow, but in obedience to the irresistible drive of this yearning for speed to take on an external form”.
Dealing with China is easy and rarely need any special effort to run a
    business with them.
