Faster than USPS. Cooler than an e-card. It’s the Six-Word Valentine. It’s so simple we didn’t even need to create any new tech to make it work. Here’s how you do it.

1. Think about someone special you want to send a short love, like, or lust note to.

2. Go to the Six Words on Love & Heartbreak project.

3. Write out a Six-Word Memoir with your message. Include an image if you fancy.

4. Press Publish.

5. This screen wll appear.

6. Click on the email icon, type in one or more addresses—and poof, Six-Word Valentine is sent.

Hope to see you tonight at the Six Word Love and Heartbreak Story Slam at the 92YTribeca in downtown NYC, 7 p.m. The line-up of storytellers is hot: Deb Kogan (Shutterbabe), Elizabeth Wurtzel (Prozac Nation), Baratunde Thurston (The Onion), Darin Strauss (Half a Life), Rachel Sklar (Mediate), Michele Carlo (Fish Out of Agua), Sara Barron (People are Unappealing), and Kimberly Kaye (”The Trouble With Poet” blog). And our flavor of freaky musician, Michael Hearst, will turn Six-Word Memoirs into very short songs. At the end of the evening, everyone will have the chance to share a Six-Word Memoir during the audience participation Six-World Slam. Then we hope you’ll hang out at the 92YTribeca’s beautiful bar and share more stories and drinks.

Tickets: $10 in advance, $12 at the door. The show starts at 7 p.m. The 92YTribeca is located at 200 Hudson St. in downtown NYC.
