The women above are among the forces and advocates behind a new collaboration between Bono’s ONE organization and SMITH. From now until Mother’s Day, we’re helping ONE kick off a new campaign, Women ONE2ONE, by lending our joy of six to “Six Words on Why Moms Matter.” ONE’s simple, beautiful idea: Raise awareness of the importance of mothers and the struggles many are facing every day, at home and abroad. Your simple, beautiful part: Write six words in honor of your own mother and/or any mom your admire around the globe. Head over to the One.org site to get started.
Your Mother started it all.
Mom, passed away six years ago.
Mom, knew best, I didn’t listen.
Being Mom: Joy,Frustration,Hope,Pride.
Mom, smiles, dandilions from tiny hands.
Mom’s kiss took away the tears.
Time Mom lives is not enough.
Mom,no siblings, wanted her children,
Your Mother caused all of it.
Doctor,”Mom,everything,you get blamed.”
