Easy, Breezy, Beautiful: Cover Girl

When we chose the title of our first six-word memoir book, we needed a six-worder that was original but universal, representative but upbeat. As you probably know, we settled on Not Quite What I Was Planning, and got to meet the delightful Summer Grimes, who wrote it. We ended up so tight she once gave me an awesome haircut in exchange for some pad thai and a glass of wine.
Now we’re deep into Six-Word Memoirs by Teens Famous and Obscure, and we needed a title that met all our previous requirements, plus spoke to youth culture and gossip and diaries and lives lived entirely in the radiant glow off the internet. Since it’s on Amazon, it must be real: the book is called I Can’t Keep My Own Secrets. This exhibitionistic truism is the brilliant work of Catriona E., aka xx_rockkitty_xx, a 15-year-old from Reading, England. We can’t wait to learn what other talents she’s hiding.
