It’s a six, six world. Bloggers keep working the six-word story form in new, wild, wonderful ways—ways that are indeed “not quite what we were planning”—that delight us each day. A blogger named Sarah posts that her neighbor gave her the book as a thank you for looking after his house while he was away. Teachers across the world continue to use six-word storytelling as a writing tool. But the geeks shall always inherit the earth, and all its six-ly goodness.
I was listening to Alan answer calls from people offering up their own six-word messages about life, I thought, wouldn’t it be great if you could find a way to sum up an MMO [ed. note: that's massively multiplayer online games, for those not quite so deep geek] in a similar way? So, of course, trying to stay awake, I came up with a few:
World of Warcraft
Wow is fun, grinding is not.
Life isn’t laggy, EQ2 shouldn’t be.
We make game, you make music.
