Her attitude changes when she dresses-up.

Backstory

Some of you know that I take care of my mom who has dementia. Her progress for sure is getting worse, but even with that said I can dress her in her finest clothes and her attitude changes. It's as though she's her old self and nothing is wrong with her. But I know that's not true. She reacts the same way we do when we put on our nice clothes, we feel good about ourselves and yes our attitude changes too.

Believe says,

Funny how true this can be. My father does the same kind of thing. With him he changes personality when things become related to church (attending church, having visitors, or even a phone call). I can't explain it.

JAD says,

So true Believe.

canadafreeze says,

Your story speaks volumes -

Redx3 says,

My mother in law does the same. Intrinsic in our nature, maybe.

JAD says,

Good logic Redx.
