Backstory

My very independent grown daughter says this to me when she needs to be mothered. For her, I think this means for me to just do stuff that makes her feel loved and supported because she is overwhelmed. It is kind of an intuitive thing I can do. An agape kind of love. I like it when she asks this. I feel like a real mom then. It's my finest hour. (smile). Oh--not that I like her to be overwhelmed, but that I can help make things right again by just being who I am.
