Playing Mom's piano, her fingers guiding.

Backstory

Mom passed away last year (2011) at almost 93. She played her piano (which I inherited) beautifully up to few months before her death, the same one her parents gave her in 1926, when she was eight. Her repertoire was anywhere from Liszt to Loewe, Brahms to Berlin, Grieg to Gershwin. So when I sit down to play, I feel her presence here with me, helping my fingers plunk out the melodies. Thanks, Mom, but I know I'll never play as good as you!
