This is so perfect.....there has been so much written about the ways in which parents influence their kids' lives, but I have said for years that more needs to be written about the ways in which our kids change us and make us grow....being a mother has definitely stretched me more than any other experience in my life...

I would agree with your comment hopesprings, but I like this memoir because it would be about so many things! I absolutely feel this as a mom. But as a teacher, I see truth in this from the classroom. As a friend, I see truth in this with those special people in my life. From the relationships where I've loved and lost, I see truth in this. Nice memoir, AQScott!

AQScott says,

Thanks to you both. I originally thought about it in terms of diapers changed, and the impact they've had on me and my life...but it's evolved in my own mind as well. My job isn't to change my children... but to help them to discover who they are, as they have helped me to discover who I am. I'm definitely not the same person I was before I had them. I'm pleased that it's meaning is in the reader.

AQScott says,

Oops...I meant its meaning is in the reader.

MrsPremise says,

It is multi-layered and ever expanding, isn't it? It DOES start with just diapers...
This memoir could go on forever...!!! Love it.
