Backstory
My mom would occasionally start singing and dancing in a grocery store or other public place and extend her hand to me. As a teenager, I let her take my hand and went through the motions of dancing, but until I was an adult (and repeated this behavior), I didn't appreciate how important and life-affirming it is to be playful and silly.
