Friends, first. Relatives, second. Partners, always.

Backstory

Mom and I were lab partners in Consumer Science, which meaning to offend no one, is the lamest excuse that could pass for a college science lab course yet was the funniest, most enjoyable, and learning experience combined. Took summer class at local community college together.

Mom and I also were partners at Wilton's Cake decorating class where are creations were tasty but not quite "aesthetically" pleasing though we did manage a few roses that had some resemblence. She made me make the first batch of icing by hand, took forever because it was so thick and hand would get sore. She promised before leaving for vacation to make the second batch. Long story, short, I ended up making it too. We didn't enroll in Part II.

Mom, though deceased, is my angelic copilot and partner to this day.
