Backstory

A new romance. A budding friendship. Both can be love at first sight. We meet, we are attracted, and we are in love. We see only the beauty.

But as we get to know each other, learn the histories, get introduced to families and closet skeletons, the warts start to show. But still, we love. And we say, "I have seen your warts, and still, I love you....in spite of them."

But true intimacy...true, endless, life-long love....that comes when we can say, "You have warts, but I love you, not in spite of, but BECAUSE of them."
