"Children, go where I send thee."

Backstory

I woke up this morning with the words of this old spiritual whispering in my head. I should say, I'm not of a particularly religious bent, and I wear my faith like a comfortable old shirt....I've had it forever, it's part of who I am. I'll admit that this time of year, my head is usually full of holiday songs...both pop tunes and classic hymns. But never this one. It's not one I hear played...it's not particularly Christmas-oriented, although it mentions the little bitty baby.

I keep wondering if there is a message for me in that song, and if so, I think I need a little help figuring out what it is.
