Your memoir sounds like my story. I wrote a longer piece for the part on here called The Ex (I think). It was about my dilemma of letting go. I posted it for a day and then took it down because I'm so devoted still, it felt like a violation to me of his privacy. Somehow. I thought it would help me to move on. I sometimes wonder if I ever will feel like dating anyone or even wanting to get to know anyone else. I really liked your memoir and knowing I'm not alone in still feeling attached to someone. Tells him: "It's been ten years. It's time. (pause) It's time."
