Cheated on me. Broke my heart.

Backstory

He just came up to my house and told me in person. He said he was drunk but that's not an excuse...

So sorry .... I know that hurt.

ba_miracle says,

Oh how I wished I'd had that song as a teen notyouraveragegrandma.

"We are never ever ever ever getting back together"
Sorry you had to experience this Hannahmo.

MO_Thoughts2 says,

And remember you recycle plastic, glass and fiberboard......never the boys/ men !!! :-)

NumbrOneAunt says,

hannah, since you are fifteen, my guess is that he's not even old enough to drink legally. this is just really bad. i'm very sorry for your pain and wish i could give you a real hug instead of a cyber. {{{{{HUG}}}}}

Hannahmo says,

Worst break up ever. Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement. :)

@NumbrOneAunt He's 16. As far as I knew, he didn't drink at all. I was wrong.

thesagittarian12 says,

No way! I hurts now, but someone better will find you. :-)

jl333 says,

Obviously, he didn't know what he had. There are plenty of other good boys around. So sorry, and best of luck Hannahmo!

lillybrook says,

Hannahmo, I am sorry this happened, but your heart is strong and you were too good for him. It's going to be okay.

Hannahmo says,

It's been a week and it still hurt but I think I'm gonna be ok. Thanks Sagacious, jl333, and K822 for your nice comments. :)

jl333 says,

It's okay to hurt for now, but believe me, you'll be Okay! Later on, you'll look back and see that this guy wasn't even worth your time. For such an articulate, and compassionate young gal that you are, there will be plenty of boys who will appreciate somebody with a good head on their shoulders. We stand behind you 100%.

Amapola says,

It's good that you know, at *least* he had the guts to tell you. But you don't deserve this treatment. You are sweet, smart and caring. His loss.

KharisJo says,

you're the kind of gal that makes me wish I had a daughter. walk on with your self-respect and head held high. Hugs darl.

unknown116 says,

Trust me, it wasn't as bad as when my ex broke the news to me. We were engaged and it was the day before I was going to leave for a Church trip. He stole a childhood dream from me (it was something he knew I wanted my future husband to do for me) and then he called me up crying and told me he slept with someone...he was sober.
Besides that, I am very glad you can stand up for yourself. A lot of people can't. But since he was drunk, and he was honest with you, depending on how far he went, you could try and tell him that he can work his trust back. But that's only if you are comfortable. No matter what though, there are pleanty of fish in the sea as they say. Just choose the one that will love you right and that you will love right.

Hannahmo says,

Thanks Amapola and KharisJo. Your comments made me feel a lot better. :)

@unknown116 Wow. I can't believe your ex did that to you. I hope you're feeling better now. My ex and the other girl didn't go too far. They made out and both of them regretted it the next day.

unknown116 says,

I am feeling better, but I will never forget what happened. Although I have forgiven him... But you need to do what's right for you. Find a place where your heart and your head can meet.
