Backstory
Dear Romeo,I find myself choking on memories at the strangest times of day, and I try to stop myself from thinking: what if? What if?
I can't keep needing you this badly yet simultaneously pushing you away. I can't want to melt into your arms without remembering that once upon a time, you ripped out the happy ending for our fairy tale and threw the pages at my feet.
I can't stop thinking about what might have been, but maybe our story was meant to be a tragedy.
