my husband is a doctor and i'm a nurse. my brother got sick with lymphoma. we really had his back, did our best to communicate with his team. we talked every night to guide him through chemo, and talked with his dr's all the time. The best team and technology didn't win this time. Terry died after his first chemo treatment. I guess that Cub fan myth about it being a curse..... maybe just a little bit. Terry had a kick ass life,and the end would have been rough. He was one to leave movies early, so I get it, how he needed to go right away. It's those around here still. we need to figure out how to be with Terry even though he is not with us. He'll show up at the season opener of the Cubs game
