ShellDeFelice says,

My Dad has cancer. He is 80 years old and has lived a full life but my Mom is frantic these days. I think of you whenever I talk to her. That is the hardest part I think, the idea of going on alone. xoxoxoxox

Dragonflower says,

Oh DynamicDbytheC, that is for sure the hard part. Thinking about the future. James is probably a very charismatic guy, someone who just fills up a room with his presence. At least that what your descriptions sound like. You are like that too, I can tell. When you need to the strength to go on alone, it will be given to you. I am absolutely certain of that. For now, just stay in the present as much as you can. Best thoughts to you today. I am sitting watching the waves crash white against the shore and the birds flying over the water, so free and easy. It is such a soothing image. I wish that peace for you and for James.

bohemdeb says,

Lost my husband to brain cancer at 29. Kids were 4 and 6 at the time. He was my high school sweetheart and we'd been married just 7 years when it happened. I feel your pain. I really do. I hear the birds singing outside in the trees, and it's the little things that keep me going on a day to day. It's been 20 years now and I still miss him. I wish you peace.

DynamicDbytheC says,

Thank you for those words. He will always be loved by me. I am next to him in Hospice/Hospital.

jl333 says,

We're here to listen if you need to talk

TheAngstyPoet says,

I wish I had something more meaningful to say. You and James are in my thoughts often. If there was ever true love I think you two fit the build.
