DynamicDbytheC says,

They really aren't. Must be the wrong one. Find and read, "He Says, She Says" and "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus."

AQScott says,

I'm sure they say the same about women...

Dragonflower says,

I misread this memoir every time I saw it. Thought it said, Wise guys were not so complicated, and I thought, yeah, that's true, they were just on their way to bring the gifts....nothing more.

In a way that's still true for the way your memoir is actually written. I agree with DynamicD. Guys are pretty straightforward most of the time. A movie that is really kind of cheesy and a chick flick, was actually enlightening to me: He's just not that into you. You might want to give that a look as well.

Some guys are complicated, but again I agree with DynamicD. They are usually the wrong ones for you and they are just playing games. Good luck to you as you find the one who was meant for you--it will feel like coming home.

unknown116 says,

Autumn, that last paragraph of yours, now that is the best way to put it.

Dragonflower says,

Thank you, unknown! I hope all this helps poohbear.

poohbear98 says,

Thank you.

Dean6805 says,

I'm a guy, an I agree with the above statements.

b.dale says,

It has little to do with the "sex" of a person; and as numerous mentioned above posts state... It is the person that is the complication, that causes the drama, mayhem, chaos... Maybe learn from this loser/tool and make a commit to work on yourself, addressing what attracts these type of people to you. Then, the next loser/tool that comes along, you spot his shit a mile away. I'm just saying; in my past I have attracted way to many complicated drama queens. I learned why, changed my ways and worked on my loneliness and self esteem problems.
