Backstory
Just cruising around on Youtube and found some old Beatles interviews and stuff. George was always the one I liked even though Paul was a cutie. Paul is 70 now. Always thought they were so much older than me. Time perspecive, I guess. When you are 12, 22 seems really, really, old.

I was a George girl, too:-)Dragonflower says,
I go crazy when I see his son singing. He looks just like his dad did. I often cry when I hear Here Comes the Sun. It's the "little darling" part that just tugs at me... Glad to hear you liked him too.Dragonflower says,
I have a nice Christmas CD with Yo-Yo Ma paying cello. It is called Songs of Joy & Peace and I got it at Starbucks several years ago. It has different artists singing on it, as well as just cello solos. I was playing it yesterday and James Taylor is singing Here Comes the Sun. Ah, James, I love you too! Even more now then way back when.NumbrOneAunt says,
i must say i'm in the paul (he was my very first crush) camp BUT from things i've read it was the four of them together and the way everything just meshed that created magic. and really, no matter which one was your favorite it WAS magic :)Dragonflower says,
I absolutely agree. My son-in-law thinks I am so lucky to have "been there" when the Beatles came together. He's even more impressed that I once owned the original albums. He absolutely can't understand how I let them go. He has collected many of the vinyl LP records and when he plays them when I've over, it IS magical. Lennon/McCartney lyrics were so simple, but so lovely. McCartney still writes beautifully.l8leigh says,
