Somebody did not cook the roast right. Or perhaps got the wrong type of meat. I buy the Eye-Round roast beef and it is the finest you can get and the tastiest meat I find. Serve with potatoes roasted in the juices and serve with some horse radish. Also don't forget the veggies and salad. I make my own gravy from the juices, just add some flour and salt and pepper.If you cook something correctly you can make anything taste delicious!

maryjane 31, very true. I learned very quickly that many dishes my parents made weren't bad food, they were just cooked improperly (way overcooked broccoli being another that stands out). Now, I don't really have any foods I won't eat.
