maryjane31 says,

Not me! Blood pressure goes sky high. Unknown reason for the anxiety just don't like doctor visits. Guess I am expecting bad news.

Hannahmo says,

No way! I usually end up getting a shot and I hate those. :(

jl333 says,

No, I usually cry for no reason. What the heck?

Dragonflower says,

Blood pressure is always higher. I always feel I am going to get chastised for something. Back when I felt really sick all the time, time I'd always cry. Now I'm really healthy, but I cry in my nutritionist's office because I'm so grateful for her and how much better I feel. You'd think I'd smile and laugh, but no....

KharisJo says,

Yes, but with dentists it's another story.

JAD says,

So relaxed I fall asleep once they put me in that holding tank:)

maryjane31 says,

WoW JAD, you are remarkable! I could never fall asleep in the office. But you know you are right. I should take the attitude that what ever will be will be, and trust more in my doctor. Also hate that holding tank. Get sick of looking at all the charts and then I hear his footsteps approaching and he opens the door and says " Well hi Mary, how are you doing?" Well he has my test results so why ask me? Duh!

Dragonflower says,

You made me laugh, maryjane! I've always wondered why everyone asks how I'm doing--from check-in to the nurse to the doctor. Do they want me to really say? Is this the time? So I just say "fine" or "good" Guess it is just a polite greeting in an odd context. Sometimes they comment on my scarf instead. I prefer that - "Beautiful scarf, love the color!"

My thing I'm not liking so much is the new computer entry while you talk. I love how convenient it is for the docs and nurses, and for my own online access to my records, but I just feel....IDK...ignored? Unimportant? But I know they are listening while they type. But that sorta makes me tense. My dr also looks stuff up online if I have a question. The idea is then I 'll get a printout of the answer. She gets excited and pleased about that!
