Can a person's energy repel you?
Backstory
I'm hesitant to buy into any sort of 'positive' and 'negative' energy, but I can't write it off entirely. Why are some silences completely comfortable and others feel unbearable? How can a person's mood affect the way a room feels? So much tension has been building up here for so many months. Occasionally we find outlets, but mostly it just builds and builds. Today, it is so strong that I told my husband he needed to leave the house for a while because my body literally felt like a magnet being pushed away from another magnet. The stress is too palpable. There's too much going on and I'm feeling it physically as much as mentally. I'm writing about it because I don't know what else to do. Something about today is making me feel so restless and anxious and being around other restless anxious people is actually unbearable.

You are in situation with living with Mom and no work that would destroy some people.Vibes are very much exuded. He is so stressed about not working and providing for you and LM. And I'm sure there's some resentment in you even though you try not to feel it. Sound like you need some time away.... just you and do something that makes you happy. Leave Little Man with hubby. Take that camera out and go take pictures of the world and it's people. Then come home and remind yourself why you love him, wrap him in your arms and reconnect.

On any given day, what could attract me could repel me. Energy levels. Circumstances. Any given day....Wench says,
H, we would if we could. It just isn't an option. Finding an apartment in our price range, affording bills and food and living in the city as we do, I'm telling you - we were living on the edge when he had a job. Unemployment is 80% of that. It's not enough.Wench says,
When I say on the edge, I mean, we had exactly enough to pay bills and approximately $20 miscellaneous money a month. So a 20% cut really isn't sufficient. Finding a place with two bedrooms that isn't next to a drug dealer in Philly and is reasonably priced is a very difficult balancing act.unknown116 says,
I understand completely. Sometimes it's just one person and the energy the emit, but sometimes it's just how life touches you that day. I hope things start looking up for you Wench. Even if it's just one day of peace, that day could last you a lifetime.unknown116 says,
