At work keep mouth shut and ears wide open. Never talk negative about people, places, or things. When asked, always work the over-time.I may not be the greatest success in life but I was liked and respected for doing good work by my bosses and co-workers.
Be a good person. I always feel that if I do the right thing, I am somehow rewarded. I have been very blessed. I don't put too much emphasis on material things, because if you are always chasing after something bigger and better, it is difficult to appreciate what you have and feel satisfied with yourself.
one book that really assisted me was "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. His simple principles really help to build good relationships. Believing in my own worth and being genuinely interested in others and encouraging them have also helped me.
Fake it until you make it. If you act interested, you will probably become interested. If you ask questions, you'll become curious. If you think positive, you'll find your optimistic side. If you work hard, you will be tenacious.
