I like to ask the big questions- this obviously isn't one of them. My 2013 wall calendar has a photo of an Australian bird for each month- with January's avian specimen being the Blue-faced honeyeater.
Beautiful mushrooms of the world. January has hygrocybe coccinea from California. Next month you're up, Sag12-- entoloma virescens from Australia! When I bought this calendar in November, I didn't know too many people from other parts of my country or none internationally. Now I know people from all over who ask the big questions!! And the not so big!
I put a calendar together through iPhoto each year for my family. I use pictures I've taken around the city. It also includes family birthdays and anniversaries and other special dates. I also have the Sixy calendar Wench put together. I hang one calendar in my work room and one on the fridge. Guess which is where:-)
I've got a woodblock print calendar from a local artist, a big free calendar from the grocery store across the street, and night time world city views this year.
Thoughts of Friendship 2013, a Christmas present from a friend, very pink and flowery. The thought for March is my fav : A true friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
