Consider yourself high energy? Low energy?

Backstory

I've been jokingly (I think) been accused of being on speed due to the crazy speed and intensity at which I do things. I feel constantly frustrated because most people don't seem to want to accept that this is the way I'm wired (mother genetics) and that I really have no choice in the matter.

Wench says,

Varies greatly, depending on proximity to people who make me tense. The more tense I am, the busier I am. When I'm relaxed, I'm pretty mellow.

Sagacious says,

Life would be sooo much easier if I was like that. I'm absolutely convinced of it.

Sagacious says,

Sorry Wench, you caught me on the hop. My comment was in response to hieronimo's remark.

Wench says,

I recommend alcohol.

Sagacious says,

I tried alcohol, but it never felt quite right. I've become very good at counting to ten, but not so good at walking away.

Dragonflower says,

I am low keyed. Most people find me calming to be around, but one person told me that if I didn't talk, move faster they would scream. It was someone I worked with. After that comment, I tried really hard to be different, but it was a huge effort on my part. When I was a little girl, whenever I got excited and talkative, I'd be told, "who wound you up?"

Since I'm on the cusp Sag/Cap, I think that wound up part was the Sag surfacing! Sometimes I still feel it.

accidentaltourist says,

Both. I move quickly when I move, and am very still when I don't. I talk excitedly and fast when in conversation, but I can sit with a dear one in companionably comfortable silence.

I work fast when I work, but I think that's just so I can get more quickly to the point where I can do nothing. :)

maryjane31 says,

Accidental; that's how I am. Both low and high energy. Depends. Also I talk fast and excitedly when I have something important to tell. Walk very fast. My husband always tells me to slow down and talk slower. I always feel that I want to get stuff done. I have no idea why as I have no small children to care for now. I guess I'm hyper.

jl333 says,

Ditto what AT said. I'm a little of both, but probably a little more energetic than most.

canadafreeze says,

I have been called a whirling dervish - I do not procrastinate and have little patience for those who do. When something needs to be done, I just do it. The hardest thing for me to do is just ... Be.

ctgoods2 says,

dittos canadafreeze.

JAD says,

Might be considered low key except when it comes to cleaning I go a hundred miles a minute trying to get everything done. And plenty of energy when dancing.

DynamicDbytheC says,

Guess. It is obvious. High-energy. Sometimes when I am working in the kitchen, James calls me "the little hurricane." Lately, with more stress, I am wired or tired. No middle.

Steve__Anthony says,

Low.

lillybrook says,

High energy. Definitely. What am I doing with my sub-zero winter day? Well, I came here to write, then I grocery shopped, then I made lunch and washed dishes, then sat in a chair for about 30 minutes before I went insane and started baking. Now, after 6 dozen peanut butter cookies and a loaf of banana bread, I'm back here. People who know me well call me "efficient." I get stuff done.
