marymc says,

Yup. THAT one will never rape again.

TheUnknownComic says,

Finding, capturing, and punishing criminals of types would lower all types of crimes. The U.S. isn't as effective at solving crimes as countries with lower crime rates. That and Marymc is right.

Dhani says,

Yeah, ok---so, do GUNS prevent war?....

marymc says,

We aren't talking war. You asked about rape. Since every man is born with that weapon, we can't take it "off the streets" until AFTER the crime has been committed. When will men take it seriously? When will every last high school and college boy understand that it's not ok under any circumstance?

Dhani says,

mary...rape can be seen as another form of war -and just as ugly. I personally do not believe the death penalty prevents crime.

Dhani says,

Be logical for ONE instant: it's a crime to kill someone, but it's not a crime for the State to kill someone who killed someone! The world is saying in many isntances killing someone is 'good', not bad' (And that's what I'M saying: the world's crazy!)

marymc says,

You have such a condescending attitude.

Dhani says,

Why, Mary? Enlighten me!

ba_miracle says,

Many rapists will do it again, given the chance. Let us prevent the future crime and do away with an unreformable - remove them from our collective consciousness with a quickness so we can move on to putting our energies to more productive endeavors.

and yes the world IS crazy to have let all this nonsense perpetuate for this long.

I felt like I had to lockdown my daughter in her teenage years.

When someone does something so egregious they forfeit their chance for a future. Snuff them out of our existence. If reincarnation is for real maybe they'll be nicer or tortured souls in the next lifetime. Who knows but they need be gone now.

I am not talking about the over eager boy/girl who date rapes, they require much relearning and hopeful reformation/redemption.

Dhani says,

(Alas, viwed through the Eternal perspective, God's Son cannot be KILLED...)
