My mother-in-law has given me socks every year. This year, she also gave me a diamond to replace the one that fell out of my engagement ring, since apparently the lifetime warrantee on my ring only applies if I get it polished every six months, and I didn't. My parents were so poor their first Christmas that my mom gave my dad new socks and underwear. It was what he needed and what they could afford. It became a tradition, and for 40 years, that was always one of the gifts "From Santa." Best tradition ever.Keep giving socks.

I bought a pair of knee socks today, at local drugstore with my extra bucks reward. (store gives cash rebates for dollars spent each season or for special purchases.) I can wear them under my jeans to keep my legs warm in this 55 degree cold weather! :)mzejay says,
I got a pair of sparkly red socks with white cuffs. I call them my Santa Socks and I have to admit, I love them.
