Warm soup... and hot chocolate. =) But this year, my favorite snowy day activity has been taking my son out in his little sled. I just love watching him experience all of these new things.marymc says,
Shoveling. I love it. I'm weird. But I get honks and thumbs up from passing cars. I get to say hello to people walking their dogs. I get the feeling of satisfaction from accomplishing something physical that I may not be able to do soon. I save money not hiring a plow guy and not having a gym membership. Being a part of the can-do attitude that comes with trying to dig out of big snows. Love the way everyone in the neighborhood helps out those who can't dig themselves out. Only marred by me sending a chunk of ice through my neighbor's storm window with my snowblower. When it is bright and sunny and no wind blowing, but much snow on the ground - favourite activity is to bundle up and take my puppy for a good walk. Conditions have to be just right for maximum enjoyment:-)
