When they get really dirty from mud in the yard. But I have my cocker groomed by her groomer at least every eight weeks. Remember cocker spaniels have very thick coats and she grows in very fast. Down in Florida I like to keep her hair short in case of fleas. She does not have fleas, but down here there is always a possibility of them. I use the flea medicine as well. Love my dog!
I was just curious. I've been taking my 100lb and 75 lb labs every 4-5 weeks, and can't get over how much cleaner my house is. My vaccuum is picking up a lot less dog fur! I think it's worth the $$$ ; )

Every 6-8 weeks. Lucy's developed a skin condition, so I may start bathing her with the medicated shampoo in between.canadafreeze says,
My Shih Tzu is groomed every 5-6 weeks. He gets his face washed every day and I occasionally use a dry shampoo to freshen his coat between grooms.Mourningdove says,
