Dragonflower says,

Patting myself on the shoulder and telling myself everything is OK, always works for me. People don't know I'm doing it. They think I'm scratching an itch or something. I always wanted my parents to do that, but they never did. The other thing that helps, is just making a cup of tea. Sometimes I don't even drink it. It's just the ritual--the fragrance and the warmth, I think.

The pills my doctor prescribed.

SingerSomewhere says,

Telling myself that now is not the time or the place to be upset and pushing it out of my head. Either that or prayer.

accidentaltourist says,

Movement. Dancing, if I can. Cleaning something if I can't dance. Sometimes both together.

jl333 says,

Most foods or candy. Works everytime.

Dragonflower says,

Cleaning something! That's a good one. I was just doing laundry this evening and the sound of the dryer and the smell of the dryer sheets was so soothing, as was folding the warm, clean clothes. I also cleaned the bathroom today.

Dhani says,

Immediately initiating a conversation with my Creator always does the trick!

TheAngstyPoet says,

Big Bang Theory. Or any type of comedy. Or hugs always work. All else fails Calvin & Hobbes or YouTube.
