maryjane31 says,

I would say one dollar.

jl333 says,

I know of a couple of families that are leaving $5.00 per tooth! Seems a bit high if you ask me...especially since I was lucky to get .10 cents growing up.

SingerSomewhere says,

I have a friend whose father accidentally left a $20 bill for her tooth once! I remember being so jealous that she had the "Rich Tooth Fairy". I would say about a dollar would be a good amount.

Dragonflower says,

A little girl told me about a week or so ago, she lost her tooth, but she wrote a note explaining that she lost it and the tooth fairy left her $3.00. She said it matter-of-factly, like that was the going rate, but it sure surprised me!

Believe says,

The tooth fairy leaves very weird coins under my daughter's pillows. They often belong to other countries, or are old and can't be spent. I've never understood why.

BanjoDan says,

I accidentally smothered my tooth fairy with the pillow

Redx3 says,

Our's only left a dollar a tooth.
